Lawn Care, Turfing and Seeding

If your lawn is looking tired and being overrun with weed whilst struggling to kick start, a new lawn may be the answer. Full preparation to the lawn area including deep cultivation of the existing lawn to elevate natural surface capping and sub surface panning, work commences in preparation of the final seed bed, working the area ensures that the new lawn area is level within the confines of the garden. This stage removes clods of soil and large to medium stones. Local Norfolk turf is laid, working from wooden deals for a seamless finish. After final preparation lawn may be seeded, with the chosen lawn seed.

Lawn Dethatching

Naturally over time thatch builds up builds up on the soil level which slowly, but consistently starts to suppress the grass. Dethatching, removes the build up of naturally occurring grass trimmings, moss whilst lightly opening the soil surface. Often carried out with a professional Spring feed weed and moss killer. Lawns may be over seeded afterwards to speed up recovery of the lawn.
